Jurisdiction and language

Public documents and guides are prepared in British English for England and Wales. Scottish, Northern Irish, United States and the law of England and Wales must not be imported into an England-and-Wales document.

Source hierarchy

Legal propositions are checked against current recognised sources, including legislation.gov.uk, GOV.UK, the judiciary, the UK Supreme Court, BAILII, official tribunal-decision services, regulators and ombudsmen relevant to the matter.

No invention

The system must not invent facts, parties, dates, amounts, references, evidence, legislation, procedural rules, authorities, quotations or source links. An unsupported proposition must be omitted, qualified or flagged for verification.

Document method

Material points are structured as fact, supporting material, applicable rule, application, procedural effect and requested outcome. Where an official form is mandatory, the service prepares supporting or mapped content rather than presenting an inaccurate substitute as the official form.

Quality controls

Generated documents pass structural, source, jurisdiction, placeholder and foreign-law residue checks. Completeness and fidelity to the source material take priority over an editorial page estimate, without a post-generation page surcharge. Failed quality checks may trigger repair, block delivery or require the customer to supply further material.

Correction and updates

Suspected errors or outdated material may be reported to support@mylegaldocsai.co.uk. A source date does not guarantee that no later amendment, rule change or decision exists, so live filing requirements must still be checked.
