Refund, Cancellation and Correction Policy

Effective date: 21 July 2026.

1. Price and scope

The selected Core or Comprehensive whole-document package and total fixed GBP price are displayed before payment. Any page range is editorial guidance only. Court fees, postage, service, representation and third-party charges are not part of the order.

2. Statutory cancellation period

A consumer entering a distance contract may have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to the nature of the supply and statutory exceptions. This policy does not replace or reduce a mandatory cancellation right.

3. Immediate performance

Where the customer expressly requests immediate personalised performance, work may begin after payment. If the customer cancels after work has begun, a proportionate amount may be payable for the service supplied before cancellation where the law permits. Full performance ends a cancellation right within the cancellation period only where the statutory request and acknowledgement requirements are satisfied.

4. Digital files

Where a supply is legally classified as digital content rather than a service, any exception based on beginning supply within the cancellation period applies only if the statutory express-consent and acknowledgement requirements are satisfied. The service does not assume that every generated document automatically falls within that exception.

5. Provider or technical failure

A duplicate charge, payment without a corresponding order, provider failure or technical defect preventing delivery will be investigated. A temporary external AI-provider capacity or billing limitation may place a paid order in an automatic recovery queue for up to four working days, with an honest notice and no further charge. An active recovery attempt does not remove any cancellation right or mandatory remedy. If recovery is not completed within the stated window, or the failure is unrecoverable, the remedy may include replacement delivery, repeat performance, price reduction or refund depending on the facts and mandatory law.

6. Non-conforming service

Mandatory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain available. The included correction does not replace a right to repeat performance, price reduction, refund or another remedy where the statutory conditions are met.

7. Included correction

One correction is included within the same matter, parties, evidence, requested outcome and purchased whole-document package. The UK service does not charge a post-generation page expansion.

8. New work

A materially new matter, document, party, objective or substantial body of new evidence may require a separate order rather than a same-scope correction. That classification does not remove a remedy for an error in the original supply.

9. How to request cancellation, correction or refund review

Email support@mylegaldocsai.co.uk with the order reference, the requested remedy and a concise explanation. Do not resend sensitive files unless requested for a specific investigation.
